Who gave Jesus the empty baskets
after the multitudes were fed?
“Gather the leftover pieces,”
Jesus instructed, “let nothing be wasted.”
Were the baskets borrowed?
Imagine the disciples laden with full baskets
and Jesus’ message to the owners,
“You know who will need them.”
12 baskets returned for the 5000 fed,
7 baskets for the 4000.
19 baskets and 19 more stories of how Jesus satisfied.
Isn’t that like Jesus? We give Him
the empty baskets of our lives
then He fills them and knows
we will share.
