Put me in a giant slingshot and pull it back as far as it can go, then shoot me high above the tallest redwoods.
Place me in a giant catapult and fling me toward Heaven for a taste of what I pray lies ahead.
Make me the arrow in a giant bow and send me soaring into the azure sky, so birds wonder how I arrived.
After each launch, I will float back to Earth and land on a dusty plain, gently, because the Lord God is merciful. He formed me from the dust, and to dust, I will return.
Scripture References (KJV):
Genesis 2:7 KJV
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”
“All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.”
